A round electric seat with the core Bliss features
The BB-1700 Bliss is a round-shape electric bidet seat with warm-water washing, a heated seat, warm-air dryer and side-panel controls. It shares the Bliss design family with the BB-2000 but is a simpler model — it is not a BB-2000 in a round shell, and the differences below matter.
Best for
- Round toilets (this listing is the round version)
- Buyers who want heated seat, warm water and dryer without paying for remote-control features
- Simple side-panel operation
Not ideal for
- Elongated toilets — see the BB-2000 Bliss (elongated and round) or Slim Three (both shapes)
- Anyone who wants a wireless remote or hybrid unlimited warm water
What the BB-1700 does
- Three warm-water wash types: posterior wash, gentle feminine wash, and a vortex mode.
- Heated seat with adjustable temperature settings.
- Adjustable water pressure and water temperature.
- Adjustable warm-air dryer.
- Deodorizer.
- Nozzle oscillation for a wider clean.
- Side-panel controls — everything is set on the seat, nothing to lose or recharge.
BB-1700 vs BB-2000: what is actually different
The BB-1700 and BB-2000 share the Bliss seat design, and the BB-1700 is the round-shape option at a lower price. It is not equivalent to the BB-2000. What you give up:
- Heating system. The BB-2000’s hybrid heater supplies unlimited warm water; the BB-1700’s warm-water supply can run out during longer washes.
- Remote control. The BB-2000 includes a wireless remote (white or black); the BB-1700 uses side-panel controls only.
- Feature depth. No night light on the BB-1700.
If those differences do not matter for your bathroom, the BB-1700 is the more affordable way into a round Bliss seat.
Before you order
- Shape: round (this listing). Measure from the bowl’s front edge to the centre of the back bolts — roughly 16.5 inches is round, roughly 18.5 inches is elongated.
- Power: grounded 120-volt GFCI outlet within reach of the 4-foot power cord.
- Water: connects to the toilet’s cold supply line.
- Install: replaces your existing seat.

Frequently asked questions
Is the BB-1700 the same as the BB-2000?
No. They share the Bliss design and the BB-1700 is the round-shape option at a lower price, but the BB-2000 adds unlimited hybrid warm-water heating and a wireless remote. The BB-1700 is simpler: side-panel controls and core wash features.
Will it fit my toilet?
This listing is the round version, for round toilets — roughly 16.5 inches from the bowl’s front edge to the centre of the back bolts. If your measurement is closer to 18.5 inches, your bowl is elongated; see the BB-2000 or Slim Three, which come in both shapes.
Does the warm water run out?
It can during a long wash. The BB-2000’s hybrid heating is the model to look at if unlimited warm water matters to you.
Does it need electricity?
Yes — the heated seat, warm-water heater, dryer and deodorizer all run on household power from a grounded 120-volt GFCI outlet.
