The simple way to try a bidet: no power, no plumber, no permanent changes
The BioBidet SlimEdge is a cold-water bidet attachment for people who want the essentials done well: a posterior wash, a feminine wash, adjustable pressure, and an install that leaves the toilet exactly as you found it. It is the model we point renters, students and first-time bidet buyers to first.
Best for
- Renters and apartment dwellers — reversible install, no landlord approval needed
- First-time bidet owners who want to start simple before an electric seat
- Bathrooms with no outlet near the toilet
- Multi-bathroom households and landlords fitting several toilets on a budget
Not ideal for
- Anyone who wants warm water — see the BB-270 Duo (hot/cold) or step up to an electric seat like the Slim Three
- Skirted toilets or non-standard one-piece bowls — check the fit checklist below first
- Travel use — that is a job for a portable like the TP-70 The Palm
What the SlimEdge does
The SlimEdge is mechanical: water pressure from your supply line does all the work. One knob controls everything, and the ultra-slim profile sits between the toilet and the existing seat.
- Dual retractable nozzles. A posterior wash and a gentler feminine front wash; the nozzles retract and stay protected when not in use.
- Pressure control dial. Side-mounted comfort-grip knob adjusts spray intensity from a trickle to a firm stream — you control pressure directly at the dial.
- Cold-water wash. Connects to the toilet’s cold supply line only; wash temperature matches ambient pipe temperature.
- Anti-slip mounting. Two mounting brackets, two non-slip mats and three seat bumpers keep the attachment and seat stable.
Honest trade-offs
No non-electric attachment does everything an electric seat does. Before you order, know what the SlimEdge gives up:
- Cold water only. There is no temperature control. If cold-water washing puts you off — especially in winter — the BB-270 Duo adds hot/cold mixing, or an electric seat heats the water properly.
- No heated seat, dryer or night light. Those comforts start with electric seats such as the BB-550 or Slim Three.
- Seat bumpers may be needed on some seats. The included bumpers level seats that sit slightly high over attachments — normal for this product category.
Before you order
- Toilet type: fits standard two-piece toilets (round and elongated bowls) and most one-piece toilets. Deep-skirted one-piece models may not have room — measure first.
- Tank space: the attachment mounts under the seat against the tank; check nothing (shelves, cabinets, bidet bars) blocks access to the side-mounted dial.
- Water connection: replaces the toilet’s supply-line connection at the tank with the included T-valve. Your supply hose needs a 7/8-inch end for the T-valve and a 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch end at the wall shutoff; for other set-ups, email us before you order.
- One dial, two lines? No — the SlimEdge uses the cold line only. If you want hot water at the attachment, look at the BB-270 Duo.
- Install: shut off the water, remove the seat, mount the bracket, connect the T-valve and hose, reattach the seat. Fully reversible — reinstall the original setup when you move.
How the SlimEdge compares
SlimEdge vs BB-270 Duo
The BB-270 adds hot/cold dual water inputs, but needs both a hot and a cold supply line within reach of the toilet. Choose the SlimEdge for the simplest single-line install; choose the BB-270 for warm washing without electricity.
SlimEdge vs TP-70 The Palm
The TP-70 is a handheld 450 mL squeeze bottle for travel, camping and postpartum care — it goes where you go but holds one refill at a time. The SlimEdge stays installed and draws unlimited water from the supply line.
Step up to electric: Slim Three
An electric seat adds heated water on demand, a heated seat and warm-air drying. The Slim Three is our entry electric seat in round and elongated fit — the usual next step after starting with an attachment.

Frequently asked questions
Does the SlimEdge need electricity or batteries?
No. It is fully mechanical — household water pressure powers the spray. There is nothing to plug in and no battery to replace.
Will it fit my toilet? I rent and cannot modify anything.
It fits standard two-piece toilets with round or elongated bowls, and most one-piece toilets. Installation reuses your existing seat bolts and adds a T-valve at the tank’s supply connection — all reversible. Moving out? Uninstall takes about as long as installation, and the toilet returns to its original state.
Is the water cold?
Yes — the SlimEdge connects to the cold supply line only, so wash temperature matches room-temperature pipe water. For warm washing without electricity, see the BB-270 Duo, which mixes hot and cold lines.
How strong is the spray?
Pressure depends on your home’s water pressure, and the side dial controls how much reaches the nozzle — from a gentle rinse to a firm stream. Most people find a comfortable setting within the first few uses.
How hard is installation really?
Basic tools only: shut off the water at the tank, remove the seat, set the bracket and non-slip mats, connect the T-valve and hose, reattach the seat. Teflon tape and instructions are included; no plumber needed.
What warranty comes with it?
A 1-year limited warranty from BioBidet covering manufacturing defects under normal use. Toiletland supports the claim process for products bought here.
