BioBidet fit guide

Diagram of three toilet measurements: A, bolt holes to the front of the rim; B, bolt hole spacing; C, bolt hole centre straight back to the tank

BioBidet gives these fit numbers for its bidet seats and attachments:

  • A. Bowl length: about 16-1/2 in means a round bowl, about 18-1/2 in means an elongated bowl. Choose the seat shape that matches.
  • B. Bolt spacing: under 5.5 in or over 7.5 in will likely not fit.
  • C. Bolt holes to tank: at least 1.5 in.
  • Toilet type: fits almost all one-piece and two-piece toilets. Deep French curve toilets do not fit well, and custom shapes, such as rectangular toilets, may not fit.
  • Attachments: bidet attachments fit under both elongated and round toilet seats.
  • BB-2000 power: a grounded 120 V GFCI outlet within reach of the 4 ft power cord. For other electric models, see the power details on the product page.

A simple, honest entry point — twist dial, two nozzles, no power

The BioBidet Slim Twist is a non-electric bidet attachment: a slim frame that fits under your existing seat, fed by your toilet’s supply line. One twisting dial sets spray position and pressure. Nothing plugs in, nothing runs on batteries, and there is no warm-water line to plan for.

Best for

  • A first bidet attachment that keeps controls to a single intuitive dial
  • Renters and students — installs under the existing seat and leaves with you
  • Households that want posterior and feminine wash options without touching wiring or plumbing beyond the supply line

Not ideal for

  • Anyone who wants warm water — this washes cold; step up to the BB-270 Duo or an electric seat if that matters
  • Bathrooms where reaching down to adjust the side dial is difficult — consider a remote-controlled seat like the BB-1200L instead
  • One-piece toilets with hidden bolt channels — check the checklist before ordering

What the Slim Twist does

The Slim Twist sits between your toilet and your existing seat. Turning water supply back on is all the “installation” there is after mounting; the twist-wash knob on the side of the body routes water through either nozzle.

  • Dual nozzles. Separate posterior and feminine front wash.
  • Comfort twist dial. BioBidet’s “Twist” control sets nozzle selection and pressure in one motion — no levers to hold.
  • Cold-water only. Connects to the toilet’s supply line; pressure comes straight from your home’s water.
  • No power at all. No outlet, no adapter, no batteries — the only requirement is a standard toilet supply connection.
  • Slim profile. W 15.05 in x L 12.87 in x H 3.24 in (manual drawing).

Honest trade-offs

  • The dial does everything, which cuts both ways. One control keeps things simple: the same knob picks the wash and sets the pressure, so it takes a moment to learn.
  • Cold water only. Warm washing needs the hot/cold BB-270 Duo (with a sink line within reach) or an electric seat such as the Slim Three.
  • Side-mounted control. You reach down beside the seat to adjust — not the choice for limited mobility.

Before you order

  • Measure the bolt spacing: the Slim Twist mounts on standard two-bolt toilets. Most two-piece toilets qualify; one-piece designs with a fully skirted base sometimes hide the bolts — check yours first.
  • Seat shape does not matter here. Unlike a full replacement seat, attachments fit round and elongated bowls alike because your own seat stays.
  • Water connection: the kit includes a T-valve for standard toilet supply lines. If your shutoff valve is unusual, send us a photo first.
  • Lid space: the attachment adds height under the seat, so very heavy solid-surface seats may sit slightly proud. Standard seats are fine.

How the Slim Twist compares

Slim Twist vs SlimEdge

Both are non-electric attachments that wash cold. Both use a single control: the SlimEdge has one Comfort Control Knob, and the Slim Twist has one twist dial for wash selection and pressure. Same install, same supply line, different control style — pick the interface you prefer.

Slim Twist vs Slim Zero

The Slim Zero replaces your entire seat, adds a night light and gentle close, and still needs no outlet. The Slim Twist keeps your existing seat and costs less. Choose the Zero when the seat itself is worn; choose the Twist when it isn’t.

Slim Twist vs an electric seat

An electric model like the Horizon heats the water, the seat and the air — but needs a GFCI outlet near the toilet. The Slim Twist delivers the core posterior/feminine wash anywhere, powered by nothing but water pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Slim Twist need electricity or batteries?

No. It runs entirely on household water pressure from the toilet’s supply line. There is nothing to plug in and no battery compartment.

Is the water heated?

No — the wash is ambient-temperature cold water. Warm-water washing requires the hot/cold BB-270 Duo attachment or an electric seat.

Will it fit my toilet?

It mounts on standard two-bolt two-piece toilets and works with both round and elongated bowls, since your original seat stays in place. If your toilet is a fully skirted one-piece design, contact us with the model number before ordering.

How does the twist dial work?

One knob on the side selects between the posterior and feminine nozzles and sets water pressure as you turn it. Turn left for the back wash and right for the front wash; the further you turn, the higher the pressure. Off is the centre position.

What warranty comes with it?

A 1-year limited warranty from BioBidet covering manufacturing defects under normal use. At-home repair instructions exist for certain products; Toiletland supports the claim process for units bought here.
